BOSTON — Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation (AAC) has purchased South Station, a transportation hub in Boston. AAC will assume the 98-year leasehold for the transit station’s concourse and upstairs office space. South Station welcomes more than 23.8 million passengers from all over the world annually with 75,000 people daily traveling on the MBTA Red and Silver Lines, the commuter rail and Amtrak. More than 59,000 square feet of retail anchors the transportation complex. AAC is familiar with the Boston market, having operated Faneuil Hall Marketplace for the past six years.
