Nooner Holdings recently bought its fourth retail property of 2019, the 136,553-square-foot Gateway Plaza in Live Oak, according to a release by HFF.
While no price was given, the three plots that make up the property were last assessed for $13.2 million, according to the Bexar County Appraisal District. The property was sold by Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm Tryperion Partners. Eric Lehman of Lehman Real Estate LLC represented the buyer, while John Taylor, Drew Fuller, Josh Villarreal and Kyle Shaffer of HFF marketed the property and represented the seller.
The Burlington-anchored property at 7529 N. Loop 1604 E. was completed in 2008 and is 98.3% leased to national and local tenants, including Goodwill, Laser Legend, Furniture Now, James Avery Craftsman and Great Clips.
Nooner Holdings, led by founder Sean Nooner, has had a busy year. In January, the company bought the 171,000-square-foot Military Crossing Shopping Center on the Far West Side before adding two retail properties along West Loop 1604 North. It is unclear how much more property Nooner intends to buy in 2019, as a message left to him was unanswered.
While it is unclear how much property Tryperion Partners still owns in San Antonio or elsewhere, the company sold the 84,505-square-foot Network Tech Center, a three-building office park on the Northwest Side, as part of a joint venture with Washington, D.C.-based Goodstone LLC in September. The buyer was Austin-based St. Croix Capital Advisors LLC.
